Serrano Catching Academy: Phase 2 (Footwork - Exchanges -Throwing - Bunts - Arm Care - Daily Progressions)

4 WEEK Camp!!!

Ages: 12 - 14 (Middle School)
Time Slot: 7 - 8pm
Dates: 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29 (Wednesday's)

Description:

In this phase we will be learning the following fundamentals/skills, as well as, continuing to build on the previous two phases.

Footwork:

• Patterns to 2B 
• Patterns to 3B

Exchanges (Transfers):

• Glove Rip/Pinkie to Center of Body

Throwing:

• Build on the Footwork and Exchange work to begin to build a proper arm action (create time and space).
• Throwing Fundamentals (Catcher Specific AA) and Preliminary Arm Care.
• Arm Care
• Throwing Progressions
• Using Footwork and Throwing

Bunt Plays:

• Footwork
• Angles
• Glove and Hand Relationship 

Daily Progressions:

• What it takes to get better DAILY!
